I should probably update this more often. anyway, the last few gigs have been super fun. Germany was amazing, big thanks to heiner!

just back from being at sonar. orbital were mindblowing, and Deadmau5 really surprised me with being amazing too.

This saturday i'm DJing at the first BEEF night which should be good fun.

As close as Glasgow gets to Andy Warhol's Factory, Che Camille's sky-high workshop and showroom for knife-edge contemporary fashion design is the third incarnation of New York dynamo Camille Lorigo's business. It's home to the 'Glasgow Ten', a collection of innovative young local designers, contains its own photography studio and workspace as well as some seriously lovely clothes, runs regular fashion shows and gigs as well as its own e-zine, and is worth the trip for the stunning views across Glasgow alone!

Us nice people at Cotton Cake thought it would be rather rude not to help Che Camille see a proper celebration of creativity for their third year running in Scotland [and soon to showcase London town too]!

We have a variety of performances to offer for this bash, starting with Camilles 'Beef' residents ROSS (The Kid) and I AM BLIP who will be both offering their DJ talents for the night as well as Blip throwing in some added Live antics too, bonus!!

We also have the much talked about Glasgow fourpiece 'FANGS' performing Live! The band draw a lot of influences from New Yorks 70s New Wave scene and Londons 80s clubs, expect songs for the dancefloor, obvious, raw and solid beats!!

Last but not least Cotton Cake will help see the night to an end with some very tastey music delights.

And as if that's not enough, we will also be joined by some special guests!

I'm playing the Arches on Saturday 11th April @ White Label. Tickets are £5 in adv from the arches box office or it's £6/8 on the door.

I'm playing a live set and am on last from 2-3am (or whenever they kick me off after that)

well my computer is currently dead. so that's a minor issue. thank christ i use hardware for my music. stupid windows.

Really looking forward to Men&Machines @ Stereo next month. I've got at least 23 tracks i want play that i'll have to whittle down into a set for the night.

well considering i lost my bank card and the festival resembled the somme i had a topper of a weekend at Connect.

Sigur Ros were mind blowing. as were glasvegas.

and Ross from Kobai bombarded the Koppaberg Tent with pounding filthy techno, including Squilth.

The Tuesday off today was a wonderful thing.

hip hooray! got my trusty blipbox back and thus have been knocking out some new tracks.

one of which, "Squilth" is up on the myspace.

a good few more, including a reworking of "Lush" by Leigh Myles

3 day week this week as i'm going to connect to see sigur ros, glasvegas, ivan smagghe, integra tv, and james holdern to name a few. can't wait!

still awaiting the recording from Inner City Acid, but i'll have it up for download the minute i get it.

the blipbox is in for a service, as the knobs are getting a bit wobbly due to hefty twiddling. so it's a wee techno-break for me at the moment.

the corinthian wasn't the greatest to be honest. i was marvellous as always, but the PA was rotten, and it was pretty dead by the time i got on. although it was only £2.50 for a can of red stripe. every cloud...

Not Angry/Just Disappointed is due a net-label release in the coming months. should have been out already but i'm useless.

also Emotiquon are going to be doing a remix of Emotronic.

last night in bloc went relatively well. was kinda quiet, but i got paid! thus i shall be at pressure tonight. cheers to those who came out to see/listen/glare.

just got some info on the Coritnthian gig on Saturday 2nd August. this may not be completely accurate, as i'm relying on a text message fae Matty for all this info.

The night is called the Camden Peacock.

shiny and new, like a virgin...

as i'm too lazy, and i currently don't have interwebs in my flat, to make a website, i thought this would be the next best thing for posting updates on all things i am blip.

less clutter and such than the myspace, and hopefully i'll work out how to update this via my phone's net functionallity.

tonight i'm playing live at Bloc with Satellite Dub and Binary Zero. it's free, and it kicks off about 9pm and runs until about midnight.
i shall be unleashing a brand new track "no one" tonight as part of my 40min live set, and really looking forward to playing it out for the first time. looking forward to hearing craig and stuart's stuff too.
